O God, who raised up Saint John of Capistrano to comfort your faithful people in tribulation, place us, we pray, under your safe protection and keep your Church in everlasting peace. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Prayer over the Offerings
Lord, in your kindness accept the gifts we offer. through the prayers of Saint John keep us in your safe protection and destroy the snares of our enemies. Grant this through Christ our Lord.

They sang, O Lord, your holy name and praised in unison your conquering hand.

Almighty God, we have been nourished by the Food of heaven and refreshed by spiritual Drink. Shield us from our enemies and keep your Church in enduring peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord.
