The saints are happy in heaven because they followed Christ. They rejoice with him for ever because they shed their blood for love of him.

Almighty, eternal God, you gave Saint Daniel and his companions the grace to suffer for Christ. Support our weakness with divine strength so that we may not waver in professing our faith in you, even as they did not hesitate to die for you. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Lord, accept the gifts we bring to celebrate the feast of your Martyrs. May this sacrifice free us from sin and make our service pleasing to you. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

What I tell you in darkness, speak in the light. What you hear in private, proclaim from the housetops, says the Lord.

Lord, we have been nourished with food from heaven. May we follow the example of Saint Daniel and his companions, manifesting in our souls the love and sufferings of your Son. And may we always enjoy the benefit of lasting peace. Grant this through Christ our Lord.
