The love of God is honorable wisdom and they to whom she shows herself love her by the sight and the knowledge of her great works.
Collect
God, our Father, your wisdom disposed that your Only Begotten Son, when lifted above the earth, should draw all things to himself. May the merits and example of Saint Joseph help us to rise above earthly desires and become perfectly conformable to your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Prayer over the Offerings
Lord, may the gifts we bring to your altar in memory of Saint Joseph be acceptable to you. Free us from the things that keep us from you and teach us to seek you as our only good. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Communion Antiphon [ Cf. Ps 69:30-31, 33 ]
Your saving help, O God, protects me. I will praise the name of God in song. The lowly shall see and rejoice. Seek the Lord and your heart shall live.

Lord, we have been nourished by the Bread of angels. Strengthened by this Bread, Saint Joseph endured every adversity with firm constancy. May we also advance from virtue to virtue until we come to you. Grant this through Christ our Lord.
