I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, like a bride adorned in readiness for her husband, alleluia.

God our Father, from living stones, your chosen people, you built an eternal temple to your glory. Increase the spiritual gifts you have given to your Church, into the new and eternal Jerusalem. We ask this through our Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Prayer over the Offerings
Lord, we recall the day you were pleased to fill your dwelling with glory and holiness in honor of our father Saint Francis. May our lives also become an offering pleasing to you. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Like living stones let yourselves be built on Christ as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, alleluia.
Prayer after Communion
Father, you make your Church on earth a sign of the new and eternal Jerusalem. By sharing in this Sacrament may we become the temple of your presence and the home of your glory. Grant this in the name of Jesus the Lord.

Father, all-powerful and ever-living God, we do well always and everywhere to give you thanks. You exalted your servant Francis through sublime poverty and humility to the heights of evangelical perfection.
You inflamed him with seraphic love to exult with unspeakable joy over all the works of creation. Branding him with the sacred stigmata, you gave us the image of the crucified Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Through him the choirs of angels and all the powers of heaven praise and worship your glory. May our voices blend with theirs as we join in their unending hymn of praise:
