With his every deed he offered thanks to God Most High, in words of praise. With his whole being he loved his Maker and daily had his praises sung, alleluia.

Lord God, you adorned Saint Paschal with wondrous love for the sacred mysteries of the Body and Blood of your Son. Grant that we may derive the same spiritual riches from this divine banquet that he received. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Prayer over the Offerings
Lord, as we offer gifts at your altar grant us that spirit of devotion which you infused into Saint Paschal. With pure intention and fervent love may we direct our attention to this sacred rite, and celebrate a sacrifice pleasing to you and profitable to ourselves. We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord.

Taste and see the goodness of the Lord; blessed is he who hopes in God, alleluia.
