Almighty God, you made Saint Joseph an illustrious preacher of the gospel. Through his prayers inflame us with love and with his zeal for souls that we may serve you alone. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Almighty God, look with favor on the gifts we offer you. Grant that our hearts may ever be inflamed by the mystery of the Lord’s sufferings even as Saint Joseph experienced their sacred marks in his body in honor of Blessed Odoric. We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord.
