方濟家庭的小兄弟、修規的、在俗的及方青的兄弟姊妹們，在和平鴿子的領導下，邊行邊唱邊祈禱，參與了2003年7月1日反對23條立法的和平示威遊行。

Led by two doves of peace, Franciscans prayed, chanted, marched and sang under the banner which said "Lord, make me an instrument of your peace." Franciscans (Friars, Sisters, Seculars and Franciscans Youth) and 500,000 people took part in the peaceful rally against the legislating of Article 23.
